Joy's Corner has become a favorite hangout for coffee connoisseurs and Internet users alike. And of course, it is extremely eco-friendly.  Here a couple of Joy's earliest visitors enjoy a soda and relax.  With an eclectic flair, Joy's has cleverly blended contemporary and vintage styles to create a comfortable spot that welcomes everyone.  Relax and stay a while at Joy's Corner.

Owner Joy Johnson and her husband, Champion, opened Joy's Corner, a convenient store and a whole lot more, in July 2009. They had found a quaint spot on the corner of 71 and 284 that seemed perfect, and they leased the store and the surrounding property.  They soon realized that Abbeville lacked a spot where people could enjoy a great cup of coffee while browsing the Internet.  The second Friday of each month friends and neighbors gather at Joy's Jam Session.
Folks bring their voices, their instruments, and enthusiam to enjoy Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Country Western, even Classical offerings together.  Come on - don't be shy.

Most Saturday mornings Joy's is filled with the harmony of local choir rehearsals. Beulah Land Christian Center (P.A.O.C.C.) "mass choir" is there every week (yes, it's only 3 miles away!!).
